The Investment Advisor Tool is a decision-support platform designed to identify and recommend sustainable investment options at both the building and community levels. It provides strategic deployment plans, cost estimates, and projections of technical, environmental, and financial impacts. By aligning investment strategies with community needs, the tool facilitates both financial and energy-related benefits for individual users and the broader community.
On the platform, users can simulate the implementation of selected solutions by first completing a survey that captures key contextual information. Once the data is validated, users can choose a solution to explore. The tool then presents results through a set of technical, financial, and environmental key performance indicators. Each investment plan is saved to the user’s profile for future reference. Additionally, the platform features a “News and Facts” section, offering insights and practical tips to enhance energy efficiency.
Identify and recommend sustainable investment options at both the building and community levels.

The EC Management Tool is a unified platform that supports both community managers and members by providing real-time visibility of an energy community’s performance, enabling data-driven management, and fostering engagement through gamification. It centralizes community metrics, streamlines updates, and empowers members to monitor their energy use, track collective impact, and participate in interactive challenges.
This platform aims to support the EC manager’s activities, presenting the whole community’s performance in one place: • Check the different parts that make the community in a visual dashboard. • Assess how the community is performing. • Edit the community’s information to keep it updated.
Additionally, this platform aims to inform, motivate and connect the EC members, combining data visualization with gamification and community-driven learning: • Monitor your energy performance. • Check your community's collective impact. • Compete with other members and other communities, completing quests and earning points.

Hyllegaard Høje Energy Community consists of a low-temperature district heating network (so-called “thermal grid”) and solar panels, where the solar panels are installed on the shared buildings of Hyllegaard Høje. The Hyllegaard Høje Energy Communities supply the Hyllegaard Høje Co-Housing Community with renewable energy in the form of heating for the residential clusters via the thermal grid, and solar electricity for the shared areas and the heat pumps connected to the thermal network.
At each row house, consisting of 4–6 dwellings, solar electricity is produced on their rooftop and shared with the individual houses, while any remaining household electricity consumption is covered by the public grid.
A desire to establish an energy community that, through renewable energy, can make Hyllegaard Høje a sustainable community—both socially and technically.

The Core of the ACCEPT project is the concept of “energy communities” with the collective approach to bring citizens, local businesses and organizations together, to produce and consume locally generated, renewable energy. The EU-funded project intends to develop and deliver a digital toolbox, that allows such energy communities to offer innovative digital services to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels, save energy in the users households and thus be able to reduce their electricity bill without compromising the quality of living, but ideally increasing the comfort in their homes through smart devices. In ACCEPT, these developed tools will be demonstrated and validated in four pilot sites in Greece, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland involving more than 3.000 people and 750 residences.
