The EGAC represents the members of the CSC (Collective Self-Consumption) and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations. Its tasks include:
-Managing daily operations, including the internal network (when applicable);
-Connecting to the platform of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) and ensuring all necessary coordination;
-Acting as a liaison with the RESP (Public Electricity Network) and its operators, handling the distribution of production and the respective coefficients (when applicable);
-Managing energy surpluses, including their sale or other forms of utilization;
-Carrying out other tasks assigned by the self-consumers of the CSC;
-Drafting the internal regulations
Any of the members (individuals or legal entities) participating in the CSC can create or designate the EGAC. The EGAC must be registered on the DGEG platform.
